    From starter homes to multi-million dollar luxury estates, Windermere is the premiere real estate firm in the Pacific Northwest. In 2017 they realized their social media presence was pretty rough and all over the map—a fact compounded by 300+ regional offices and 7,000+ independent agents operating their own social accounts—and did not reflect the brand’s premium image or level of customer service. I quickly pulled together a team of internal shop creatives and external experts—including strategists Gary Winberg and Cathy Svyerson—diving into a complicated but rewarding project to revitalize the social presence of respected brand.

    The deep dive into the Windermere brand included stakeholder interviews at all levels of their organization in order effectively tailor to each tier of their three-tier structure—a significant challenge with profiles that ranged from social media super-users to relative novices in the online world. Starting with a complete audit of their social channels as well as their competitive landscape through the Rival IQ tool, we moved forward with a goal of delivering them a comprehensive social media playbook with multiple strategies to bring together and enhance messaging at all levels of the organization.

    With the talented design eye of art director Joe Erfle, we delivered a robust and comprehensive social media strategy to Windermere with materials and strategy for an easy deployment. In addition to social media content best practices, the team generated weekly, monthly, and yearly cadence calendars to create messaging cohesion across thousands of Windermere and Windermere-related accounts. Our team presented the strategies and playbooks to the Windermere executive team and to the entire company leadership at their annual owner’s meeting at Seattle’s Rainier Club to rave reviews prior to the successful rollout in Spring ’18.
