Contour didn't survive as an alternative to GoPro. But the projects I completed for the Seattle startup explaining the consumer benefits of their cameras–for both their POS packaging and their consumer website–condensed complicated technical information into an action sports voice with specific references to cultural demographic targets in sports from skiing and biking to moto and hunting.
